Usually, we’d go to the zoo or a farm for a fun day out with the girls. This year, as we went away for the weekend – we took a trip to All Things Wild. All Things Wild is a nature center located in Evesham, Worcestershire – you can visit their website here.
All Things Wild is Huge!
We actually thought it was going to be quite small, like a farm. It felt like the same size as Twycross Zoo – a zoo we’ve been to so many times.
There Is so Much to Do There
To begin with, the girls thoroughly enjoyed the “underwater” area. This had play ship wheels they had fun steering. The “underwater” area also has a section to raise awareness about the effect single-use plastic waste is having on our wildlife, which I thought is amazing.
Adventuring Outside
We were greeted with so many animals. Different species and all from different parts of the world. The girls (and Daddy) had lots of fun exploring the areas to find and collect all of the stamps we need for the “summer passports”. We also had an activity sheet that we needed stamps for and when this was full, the girls got a sticker each!
We Went There for the Dinosaurs
And we weren’t disappointed either. Lilly loves dinosaurs! It was so much fun to go into the Dinosaur experience – this was where you could learn all about all of the different types of dinosaurs. From there, we then moved on to the Dinosaur Walk. The Dinosaur Walk was actually really long – but it was good fun to pretend the dinosaurs were going to get us if we walked too slow, haha!
The Girls Loved the Small Play Areas
Usually, we wouldn’t even entertain a play area of any sort – but as there were a few small ones and they were all quite empty, we let them have a play!
