Superdrug Pick & Mix Hair dye

Since bleaching the majority of my hair last year to create a DIY balayage type of look, I have since started to regain my love for light pink and rose hair colours.
After my previous rose dye had long faded, I went into Superdrug and stumbled upon their Pick & Mix hair dye range. Having a quick skim through the colours they have on offer, I decided to try the Dusky Pink dye.

It was pretty straight forward to use, as with most box dyes, and being someone who tried pretty much every hair colour when they were a teenager, I know how to mix a bottle of dye!
Application was pretty straight forward too. No, I don’t section my hair, I don’t do it “the right way”. I just make sure the areas I want to be dyed, are covered in dye and that’s it!
After leaving it for the recommended time and washing the dye out, it was actually pretty bright compared to the colour I expected. But I was happy anyway and I knew it would fade after the next wash!

Now, 3 washes later, I am left with a very light pink, almost identical to the colour on the box. Although the box does say its “permanent” but I don’t think any pink really is!
